Technical overview
The Char Grill utilizes an 'Anti-Flare' architecture by inverting the traditional heat source. Three overhead, downward-facing ceramic honeycomb infrared burners project radiant heat at temperatures exceeding 800C. Lipids drip away from the burners into a removable drip tray, eliminating flare-ups. The 800C environment triggers an instantaneous Maillard reaction. Six-level mechanical height adjustment: levels 1-2 pure radiant searing; levels 4-6 mix of radiant and convective heat for slow-roasting.
Operating notes
Uses LP/LPG gas. Gas usage: 220g/hr per burner (660g/hr total). Fastest heat-up in class: 5 minutes to 800°C. Suitable for: high-heat searing (steaks, lamb, wagyu), roasting vegetables, braai, professional kitchens.
